    Hey Karrie,

How are you? I have had a good day today,I did some research on the internet about Indians and Totempoles and Wigwams, went out to get my dinner and visit friends, then I went to my craft course this afternoon from 2pm-4pm :) I made a puppet out of an empty Milk bottle and a toilet roll the big one not the small ones we use and I had fun making it.

Hi to everyone else, hope all is well :)

    Lots of love,

    Katie :D

    Hi Katie

I am fine thank you - knackered :D Thankfully the meds have kicked in finally and I feel so much better compared to a few weeks ago.

Why were you researching Indians etc? Are you doing a course? It's good that you do things to keep you busy during the day. When I get home, I just want to sleep. And when it's time to sleep, I can't :D

Just tentatively putting my head over the depression parapet.
I am definitely LOW but I do not want prozac or counselling. I will explain later when I have more time.
SHould I bother going to the doc?

    Hi again
I have been depressed in the past with post natal depression where I ended up in hospital for a week, during a particularly unpleasant marriage breakup, and had anti depressants just to get me through when i was witht the ex who was violent. Had terrible experiences with counsellors. I have 'survived' my dad dying when i was 15, Mum being depressed, marriage breakup, PND, domestic violence and a stroke. I am over all this believe it or not.
I know exactly what is getting me down it is that my 7 year old is increasingly aggressive and I have been trying to get help for him since he was 3 and he put his fist through a window on purpose. He regularly hits me and my youngest child. Also he has not slept properly since he was born.
Got referred for play therapy for him and ended up instead with the psychotherapist from hell who said I am taking out my past on my son  She had never met me before and this conclusion she came to after 30 minutes.
So I have felt a bit low today after yet another bad start to the day then a nice call from an organisation called young minds who understood what I am going through and said its not my fault and they see we are trying to do what we can.
I know a tablet will not make me better and in any case OH and I wanted a child of our own too to 'complete' our family (he has inherited 3 kids bless him he is so patient)
I am off to a yoga class tonight as that DOES help:)
