I hope you both will have the joy of a happy, healthy baby to start your family. Wishing you all the best of everything - it's fantastic news flissy!:j
And you were worried because you'd gained 1lb in your diet hun!:rotfl:
Methinks there may be a few more of those coming!;) :D
You thought you were depressed before - before you know it, there'll be hormones everywhere!
At least we know now what the Easter bunny left you angel.:T
Actually, I think you may have a case against blinky angel! panic.giffaint.gif If he'd been providing his depression hugs more regularly...:D
May you go on to have many, many more sweetie - any additions to the litter greatly appreciated. ;)
I can see it all now...

I was born on Christmas Day - it'd be much better for the baby's present stakes if you could hold on to 1st January!;)
    I didn't learn my mother's lesson either - my son was born on Valentine's Day! :D

Seriously angel, God bless you both.hug.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    Hi Tiff,

Thanks for your message. At least I know why I gained now!! Also why I have been feeling so hungry and so tired.

Have spoken to the midwife about the Christmas Day thing and she said not to worry too much, very few babies are actually born on their due date and they might change it when I have my scan as they can get a more accurate picture of how far along the baby is.

It was sooo hard not saying anything at work this afternoon, am glad I am only in part time at the moment, would be even harder not to talk about it at all all day!!

Hubby and I have already started talking names, but just in a very general way. How on earth do you make a decision about what someone is going to be called for the rest of their lives?!

Anyway, sorry, will try to stop going on about baby stuff too much (oh who am I kidding!!).

    Hugs,
    Flis

    Hey Flis

Talk about baby stuff all you want hehe. Best name for a baby is something Strong and powerful, like mine (Alexander) ;) or if it's a girl Alexandra. Both are good.

Thanks LRS, will keep that in mind!!

I don't like a lot of the 'modern' type names, definitely not calling my child River or Moonbeam or Apple or anything!! Think we are going to go for something quite traditional like Matthew or Jack for a boy and maybe Beth or Jennifer for a girl. Don't know really, got ages to think about it (although I am sure it will go quick!).

  • Ive resolved to go part time, my new job is great, people are nice and the work is easy, but baby steps, go part time.

As i said to my g/f, I was at the top of my mountain at Sains, then i fell to the bottom broke my legs and arms and cracked my skull, since then ive been trying to jump in one go back to the top of the mountain with the broken bones.

Now I only have broken arms and a skull crack (im going for more counselling, MIND i think) but i need to take small steps back up the mountain, what is at the top of the mountain remains to be seen (teaching!) but I need to take steps up the mountain (part time hours) instead of one big jump (full time).
  • Sorry, as my g/f points out, my arms are better, its my legs that are still broken (not literally obviously!)

I hope i'm not stepping out of bounds, so sorry if i am

RBK is in hospital at the moment - I wont go in to details for obvious reasons, but she went in today (well last night) and is now having a sleep.

I personally think its going to help her get past this danger zone.

I'm sure we all wish her the best, and ill pass on the messages from above to her today :)
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.
