Depression

Thanks CC, it just hurts me you know, I mean I am not too bothered as such because I dont overly like them, Ive started to make tough hard decisions, life is too short, depression has taught me to not coast along with dreamers, I want to surround myself with good people of good character.

Hence why I am leaving the footy team at the end of the season, I may even leave sooner once we win the league. Its not a move designed to shock but make people realise I am not putting up with !!!! from people i have no respect for at all.

I believe life is too short to stay with people who make you unhappy

Yes certainly by my mother he has since he was very young.

My son doesn't care and OH doesn't do much about it.

yeah no excuses. I mean does he have problems that could relate to his attitude. I remember when my parents didnt know about my depression i would most often be rude to them, is there a possibilty that he suffers from depression? it just sounds like the attitude comes from supression of somesort. does he have a girlfriend and what does he do when he's not at uni?

He is as closed as a limpet so can't find out what may bother him. He did break up with his long standing girlfriend last summer but he was such an a/hole to her, that I don't blame her for it. She could have done it better but she wasn't from the classiest background.

He gets too intense with girls and he is so young to do so. I don't mind him having fun but he needs to balance it with more paid work and putting more into his uni work!

He needs to get real!

It's true though, I'd like a man who knows how to treat a lady. Old-fashioned Tiffster huh? :rolleyes: Got to have a great sense of humour - I don't think men believe that when we say it. But, for example, I love Bill Bailey, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrott, Jack Dee, Al Murray, Paul Merton, Alan Davies, Stephen Fry to name but a few.
I hate it when you read the personal ads section of my local paper and sometimes they'll put dating ads in there too and they nearly all start with "Male looking for female.." - I HATE THAT!!! I feel like directing them to the zoo!:D
