Hi guys, my back seized up terribly when playing football today, im in agony, Im posting a mega post on some more thoughts I have.

We had two male no shows on the viewings this weekend and to be let down by our son on top has made me really hate him. He has exams but when they are done, he is off for a month and I will kill him if he doesn't get his act together.

I am being undermined by my other family members. My OH hasn't fully supported me till recently and I still think he isn't as helpful as he could be.

For example, he wanted to see his brother but I felt he didn't need to see him. It is a long way and have enough to do up here just now. If he wanted to see him, he would despite anything I want.

I sometimes feel devalued by them, like I don't matter. People not turning up and being pathetic doesn't help, so my son has lost my respect big time, making us get an expensive taxi after paying heaps for his lessons and other things in life.

I feel I have to get past my OH as well as our son to get any order here. My OH is really stubborn when you disagree with him and it drives me nuts. I have to get him onside to get anywhere. It is not relaxing. I can't wait for this place to sell, I want to live alone so I can get peace, I get no peace.

It's a really hard situation that you are in love! I think you are doing the right thing by limiting his luxuries, but what you need to do when you make a decision is stand up for yourself and stick to your guns. I mean i dont really get told off by my parents much anymore. Me and mum sometimes have little argument but it's done in a jokey manner.
Would you say that he has been spoilt by yor OH and MIL?
Did he give a reason why he didnt pick him up from the airport?
Do you tell your son and OH how you feel about the situation and how do they react?

He overslept whilst at a mates last night - he was meant to meet us at 3pm!!

Yes certainly by my mother he has since he was very young.

My son doesn't care and OH doesn't do much about it.
