Sazbo wrote:Tiffy hun - how did you get on with psychiatrist apt and/or vet?:) Are you feeling any better today? If you still don't feel right, do get yourself checked out - better safe than sorry an' all that, innit? Unless of course you've been raiding the blue smarties again :rotfl: Much love as always, big hugs, Sazzyxxx
EDIT - Jinx hun! We posted together xxx
Hey saz - I thought we were saving the blue smartie collection to pay for the wedding hats!:rotfl:
My psychiatrist is amazing - I've been truly blessed with a genius, without any exaggeration.
Not only that, but he's a blond, single, 6 foot German with a sports car!
Unfortunately he's only interested in my mind!
Seriously though, he really is quite brilliant in what he does and a real gentleman too - treats you like a person and not a case file and with kindness.:T
I'm still getting these dizzy sessions though - thank God I haven't passed out again. Still don't feel right and had some double vision too - and I don't even drink!:p Must admit, I'm feeling a bit of a scaredy-cat now. Getting it all checked next week, thanks to the psychiatrist of all people!
Went to GP with a sore knee over a year ago - he sent me to the consultant rheumatologist who diagnosed and treats the arthritis, who then refers me to gynae as well, who are going to do a minor day op next Thursday, (if they can get me out of the door -and if they think I'm going to the same place ethel took her poor cat, they can think again! ), and I saw my psychiatrist Friday - who has referred me for some heart tests.I hope it's not to find out if I've got one!:D
Talk about from one end to another!!! :rotfl:
And he wants to see me in a month and he wants me to de-stress! Has he seen my life?!;)
I promise I'll follow everything up.:A This has been the reason I've not got to answer my pms - I'm sleeping an awful lot - literally catnapping every 3 or 4 hours or so. But I promise I'll get to them tomorrow.:o You're a sweetie for asking but I'm ok hun.;)
Cat-ch you tomorrow angel. Have a good night saz!
Much Love,

Hi to (in no particular order)...
Sazzy
I hope that, what do they call it?....errr.........WORK! is going ok. You are a big help on here and are a hero of mine xx
Hi gilly hun! Thanks for thinking of me. Well, I survived another week at work, that's something I guess! Is all a bit stressful at the moment, but just trying to hang on in there... And I'll let you into a secret - you're a hero of mine:)gillette147 wrote:Hi Folkes,
Woke up late again, headache coming on strong. Taken my new extra-strong tablets so we'll see. I had a bit of a head last night and took the tabs for the 1st time and they definately took the edge off it.
I hope so coz I'm getting to the point where all my excuses are used up and I'll have to revise.
However I have some drastic ideas which I will face if/when I have to. At least I looked into the abyss yesterday and thought it through.
My life is in disarray at the moment and I don't like it. I like stability. And I'm retraining and in a new relationship - and where some would find it exciting, I just want to know how it all ends up. It all feels unreal alot of the time. Am I really going to do exams at my age? Am I going to be doing job interviews? Am I really going to be doing a totally different job soon? I spose I have to just get on with it and trust to luck I guess.
I've been brave to go in a new direction but I just hope i'm not being stupid.
This was not a meaningless post; far from it. How's your weekend going hun? Tablets helping the headaches any?
Maybe not so much 'disarray' but a time of transition in your life? Uncertainty is always hard though, for sure. As you say, you've been very brave choosing to go in a new direction and no, you're not being stupid at all. You indicate that maybe you made choices in the past to please others, rather than your self - choices that made you feel uncomfortable or under scrutiny. Well now you're doing things for you and hurrah for that. Might not be easy, but it'll be worth it. Yes, there is an element of uncertainty and trusting to 'luck', but where ever the path leads you, at least you'll have got there more as master of your own destiny, rather than dancing on that stage you mentioned, to someone else's tune. Just my thoughts, as always.
Much love,
