Evening all! (Always wanted to say that!:D )
Hope you all had a great Friday guys. Had a sunny day here in Warwickshire and it got me thinking.:rolleyes:
Just FYI, I found this link for a MIND factsheet on holidays for the disabled - mentally/physically/learning difficulties, with or without care or carers, hotels/centres/self-catering/retreats (not recommended for the agoraphobics among us!:eek: ), relaxing or with activities, home or abroad - seems like something for everyone.
And before we all cry that we can't afford it, they have even listed charities and agencies that MAY be able to contribute financially. Here you go guys...

I'm sorry it's been such an up and down day for you angel. They obviously have faith in your abilities ethel. Although it's not the perfect scenario of choices by any means, if it helps hun, try and recognise that they haven't said you aren't up to the course. The second option sounds plausible imho - and you're a tough little cookie hun! If anyone can do it, you can!:T
I hope DD chills out when she gets back and that you get a nice weekend like the last one, with her. I can't say anything of much help right now hun but I'll be thinking of you and you know where I am if you want someone to shout at!:D Huge Tiff hugs ethel!

Ok - so you've done a man's version of cleaning the house, so that's about 50-50 too from the way your post sounds (just teasing hun!) so maybe that's why gf has only 50-50 chance of coming over. Y'see hun - it's all about ying and yang!;)

Hi guys, got my news on my police assesment through, needed 60% to pass the centre, I got 59%!

Unsure whether to be delighted, gutted or what! Im pleased because some of the scores were really excellent, resilience, only 7% of people (out of 71) scored higher than I did, failed on team working, on one of the essays, but overall Im pleased with my performance.

CBT has helped me, I would have been through the floor for a good 2 months about this, but I think its because Ive got other options and things to focus upon. I.e. University (stil my choice number 1) but other jobs on days too that will help me. I just need normality.

And to sell the car! Been through to black horse but they are closed everytime I call, usually because I get up at 6 pm!

It is hard when you come so close and then just miss out

That must have taken ages to compose.
Sorry, I dont even recognise some of those activities.
I'm on my own this weekend :sad:

But i am seeing ex-workmates in morning and old school friend on sunday.
......and I'm free to revise.
Oh well.

Thanks peeps.. that;s what makes it so frustrating.. they know I can pass - all my essays have been marked at 70-80% but because I have to keep missing classes and lectures I'm falling behind and it's not likely that I'd get much above 50% in my exams if things went smoothly from now til then.. which is highly unlikely.

Daughter is home and in a horrible mood, she's being really nasty and aggressive and generally peeing everyone off.. I've asked her not to cut because of my washing machine being broken so it's hard to wash towels n things.. we'll see.. she said she'll do it without making a mess :mad:

I just feel really fed up.. after everything feeling more positive earlier in the week I should know better than to get happy.. something always ruins it!
