Evening everyone,
Hope everyone has managed to get through Friday! I have been wrapped up in bed with 2 hot water bottles and a king size duvet trying to sweat this virus out-feeling a bit better tonight, but when I was younger I was never "allowed" to be ill-hard to explain, but I still had to help around the house etc no matter how poorly I was so I am not used to taking it easy at all!! Luckily hubby is very patient and caring, and keeps telling me to rest and he will look after me! This weekend, I may catch up with the ironing, or I may just watch Doris Day films
Hiya Tiff...love the piccies...here's one for you...just incase you get hungry
:D
Hiya badgie...sorry to hear you are on your own this weekend, Im sure its just as horrible for your better half to be seperated from you this weekend. It will give you a chance to get stuck into you revision, good luck.
Hiya Ethel...its never an easy choice to make about studies...I dropped out of uni in 4th year due to problems in my home life, looking back I was ill then but didnt admit it to myself.Hope your dd is behaving lol.
Hiya LTD...thats a shame about being 1% under the pass mark, look at it as a postive though, at least you tried, lots of folk wouldn't even apply.so congratulate yourself for that.
Hiya Blinky...good luck with meeting the parents this weekend, Im sure it will all go amazingly well hun.
Hiya feelie, hope you are doing ok hun.
Hugs to everyone who reads, lurks or participates in the thread.xxxFairy Dust to allIf you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0 -

Well I've not posted for a while. Some really good things have been happening, (going to a weekend break in march, only some tacky butlins adult weekend but they are meant to be alright, and have got talking to another girl that's going over internet, and it looks like we'll get on really well)
And some bad things...My mentor doesn't believe I've the confidence and some of the abilities to go on with the course, I don't think she's a very good mentor, and am sure this has something to do with why I'm struggling a bit. though wouldn't want to pretend I'm great or anything.
Sigh. Just don't know how to feel at the moment. Dreading counselling next week, I'm begining to really hate sitting there talking about myself. Got all the numb feeling back from when I first started feeling bad. I think I'd rather feel sad than numb.
Hope everyone else is good, hugs to all0 -
