  • This may be of interest to people who are awaiting results of readiness test/account activation. I read on the chacha forum that they are not recruiting any Facilitators at the moment so even if you do pass you may not be able to earn any money for a while. So I assume they put you on a waiting list. Can anyone confirm? As I would hate the thought of going through the training and tests and there is no job.

That has been posted a couple of times on this very thread too. You can sign up but have to wait till things pick up i suppose.
  • Yay! passed the test, but I'm on the waiting list. How long have other recently qualified facilitators have to wait before they could guide? I can't wait to get started!

As there are currently over 500 Guides in the UK and volumes of texts are only just above the level of guides there are over committed.
  • tips for others. make sure you use firefox or google chrome from the start! internet explorer does not work.
  • Honestly, I can't see it happening for you for some time soon, there are already too many gudes for the amount of work available. I can see some of us getting the boot before long.

Hi Joshclem - To be honest I don't work for ChaCha directly, I work for the promotional company that are working on behalf of ChaCha. However speaking to Doug (the vice president of ChaCha operations) I believe that taking into consideration the volume of traffic they are currently receiving, I do not believe they will be hiring more UK guides for a while. I do know that the volume of traffic just is increasing gradually everyday as we are actively out on the streets interacting with the public and it will take some time but I'm sure it will take off soon. Any questions I will do my best to answer.
