Do I have to have a phone line to have broadband?

My phone is with BT and my broadband provider is NTL. I would like to have my phone disconnected but am unsure whether I would still be able to have broadband.

You can still have ntl BB as it is supplied via a cable rather than through a telephone line (unless you have ntl: freedom ?? )ITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0
