No they don't but my OH's has been going for over 10 years.

I bought my first one in 2010 and I really like the designs (I have a number of different ones) so would probably ask how much it would cost to replace the battery.
But not at Timpsons.

Googling seems to throw up a life span of 10 years:

Hope mine last 10 years plus, I probably bought my first one around the same time as you and my favourite about 2 years ago
