Help! Undeclared points on insurance :(

Good answer from Dunstonh, as the car was new in Feb it seems unlikely that you will have renewed the insurance between when you got the points and when you had the accident.
As the vast majority of insurance companies only require that you disclose points at renewal (but check your policy wording to be sure) then it doesn’t look like you have anything to worry about.0 -
Thanks chaps, will let you know how i get on.

the clue is in the phrase "see what they advise", if the OP has a feel for what the FOS think then they are in a better informed position to deal with their insurance company.0

Have you renewed/changed your cover since the conviction was added to your licence? If not, does your policy require you to report a conviction immediately, or at renewal?it dawned on me that i had forgotten about these points
As dunston said, different insurers use different approaches. Check your policy documentation to see the correct procedure.I am a mortgage broker.
