Firstly, you have not said that she refunded the charges. Did she?
Secondly, if my understanding is correct, she extended your contract from 8(?) months to 18 months. If the original contract came with a free handset, I don't see anything to be happy about as you are not getting a new handset for the extra 10 months.
Can you afford a new keyboard with working punctuation marks?0 -
You're very lucky to be satisfied with Vodafone's customer service. I always found it appalling, which I why I left them and will never return. If you will the end, you must will the means.0

Waiting for the OP to come back on this thread at some point saying that Vodafone's not sticking to whatever was agreed with the CS agent... or maybe find at renewal time that an extra 6 months have magically been added to the contract. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

Don't get me wrong i am half expecting this to happen that is why i will be calling tomorrow to get someone else to confirm the change and why i noted the date time and name of the person i talked to and repeated the offer to then more than once and got them to repeat it back to me. They did refund the charges and my contract has not been extended in any way was 18 months and still is 18 months0 -
Hi malky39,
That's great to hear!
If you could send this over to me in an email to the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject, I can feed this back to their manager.
Many thanks,

Hi Heidi am afraid the expected happend and when i called to confirm the details the next day there was no sign of the extra 500mb that i was offered on top of the 500mb already, i asked to speak to a supervisor but none were available and was told i would get a call from a supervisor within 24 hours and guess what no phone call so it was another call to customer services where i eventually got it sorted and my contract is now down on my account as 900mins unlimited txt 1024mb of net and my free 0845 numbers for the same price £25 i am happy with this as with the other tariff i had been on my account always said that i had the lower amount of data and nothing about the extra 500mb. So to correct there errors vodafone have had to give me 600 more mins a month. When if they had just given me what i was offered correctly at upgrade time i would still have the 300 mins just goes to show what can be done when they need to. This is still not a complaint as i have ended up better off but surly it would cost vodafone less money to get things right the first time0

Hi malky39,
That's disappointing to hear after you were so pleased with what was originally offered.
I am glad that this has already been resolved for you though and that you have ended up benefiting from it.
For future reference if you ever need any help regarding your account, my team provide customer service via Facebook, Twitter and our own eForum. We will always be happy to help with any questions regarding your contract.
Best wishes,
Heidi
