just been told we cannot have the one I reserved, as it was part of a deal - wehn i quoted the bit that says this is the price you pay even if it is lower than in store he said tough take it up wiht them. I rang their helpline and they said that it was obvious they would not sell them for 1p, that people were greedy. I asked for a written address to complain to and she refused - this is against the DTI regualtions for websites, as you have to have a written contact details ....so naughty naughty. Oh well..

To the idiot that bought 6 or whatever- cheers mate, its just doing the rounds with managers now as I quote " some joker reserved 6 so its come to the managers attention", and they have been told to tell people its not in stock- which is a lie, as I know how DSG POS systems work, they are updated regularly. Well done, you idiot. Can his IP be banned?:mad:

The thing is I ordered a Philips & a Samsung (one for my dad), both at different stores. But I don't know which one he was calling about as he didn't say. I didn't ask as I didn't want to draw attention to the fact that I had ordered more than one.

What's a girl to do?

Personally if the store is close enough and not too much out of your way go down with your printout and go straight out to the till and they will take your cash and give you a receipt so then you have more rights to be sold one if they have taken money off you

I think Currys are trying to get out the easy way and just phoning customers telling them it's a mistake so then you don't go down the store to collect. I had to wait about 5 minutes while the staff member went away, probably to the manager and then I was told to go and pay and the till and my item would be brought through

Picked one up from cribbs causway, its black and not bad but no good for me as all my stuff is silver.

Just keep it in the shed for a rainy day (maybe one day when I have kids, they will need one)

well glad some people got some. Was going to go currys to buy a tft today but changed my mind now i cant get the stand

I reserved one at the Kettering store, but unfortunately when i went to pick it up they said they couldn't sell me one as they only had three stands and three tv's. So if someone was to buy the tv, they couldn't have the stand as part of the package. So you'll probably only be able to get one if they have more stands than tv's!

i got mine from wakefield currys i ordered from leeds as well but they phoned
me to tell me none in stock the man at wakefield currys said that he will send email to all currys to tell them of the offer as they did not know about so they keeping them for themselfs
