What are you having as entertainment?

  • I am having a knees up after getting married abroad. I am actually in a band so will play at my own wedding party for an hour :) and then have a disco after. We usually have a two hour set but we will be playing as more of a novelty than how we usually play! We are a Ska/Funk/Reggae enfused band and have some great numbers to dance to so I know it will go down well! Obviously my band will play for drinks only and not the normal rate ha ha

  • I'm having a DJ. Nothing else - drinking, dancing and talking to friends is the entertainment! Hadn't even considered those who might not be interested in doing this...!

I'm just having a DJ too!
  • We are also just having a disco, chat and evening buffet....What is the point in going to extra costs like chocolate fountains etc...just to entertain your guests, I am sure they will chat and entertain themselves during the whole of the wedding

Ive never been to a wedding that has additional entertainment TBH although it seems to be becoming more popular I think. We are just having a band but also having a free bar all day and all night so if that doesnt make it entertaining I dont know what will! lol

  • We are not saying there is anything wrong with having extra things for the extra entertainment, all I am saying is it worth paying the extra expense just for people to talk about?

At the end of the day it is up to you, it's your big day and I do hope you have a lovely day

  • Photo booth with fancy dress props sound fun! Should be cheap if you just put a out digital camera you already own and put up a sheet for a backdrop?
