Help! Landlord went mad during checkout PT2

I also can't imagine a charge for "managing the property" to be entertained by the service - that is what landlords do, or pay somebody else to do as a part of the rent. That's a bit like getting paid to go to work but then presenting your employer a bill for your actually turning up!

Hi all,

18 months on, I just logged in to ask an unrelated query and re-read this post and thought I may aswell give an update for anyone that cares..

We went to dispute and although the landlord was claiming over £1,100 the dispute service ended up giving him £60...! Even items that we agreed were damaged were not paid due to the landlord's completely useless inventory and subsequent behaviour.

/just deserts!
