    Hi Igamogam

Hope things are looking up for you now, you sounded a bit fed up in your last post. I know it can often feel like we're not making the progress we feel we ought to be - I spend most of my time feeling like it's one step forward and one back again and that I'm treading warter at best. However, I try to console myself with the thought that if it wasn't for the use of MSE methods it would just be the step back and no forward at all:rotfl: I see your posts all the time on the Payment a Day thread so I know you're trying to move in the right direction, even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Keep going - I love your entertaining stories about the "frogs":)

Thanks Jet :) Yeah was feeling a little low last time I posted on here but I think it was the culmination of one too many drizzly mizzly days of the winter. ( I am not usually effected by the weather/seasons!)One too many looks at the debt figures and thinking all my efforts are only making a minuscule impact and the prospect of jumping in with the frogs after what amounted to 3 weeks disruption in the end - even though it meant I did get to watch an awful lot of curling;)

Well I did type a long post this morning but when it came to posting I touched something on the keyboard and only the above appeared  Didnt have the time to correct it.............wanted to say that the welcome spring sunshine has certainly helped lift the mood and although the debt is still dire and reducing by tiny amounts we are all clothed fed warm and generally have our health:)

Have to say a few times this week I would really preferred to have turned right and head up the mountain rather than left and the long commute to work.Only because the mountains are still covered in snow and look very appealing in the early morning light - yes EARLY MORNING LIGHT!!! Has to be said it seems a long time since I set off to work to the sound of garden birds chirruping rather than owls hooting and on Friday I even got an hour in the garden after work:T

Did treat myself to a couple of hours tidying up in garden yesterday - havent really had a good look round since Christmas and the wild weather we have had - some trees have minor damage and a very large clematis got blown down but biggest damage has been done to small none herbaceous plants which have been whipped around by the wind:( Have decided to dig out some old gooseberry bushes and have bit of a redesign/rethink this year. The solitary daffodil was joined by a 'host' just before its demise...I had forgotten I had picked up a bargain sack in September and planted up a new area. I am expecting the primroses to cover the place in yellow polka dots soon if this sunshine keeps up - they always make me smile when I see them. I would like to say it marks the true end of winter but last year we had very deep snow for weeks in April:eek: I dont mind I love snow..........

OK up and at it now - big pot of anything you can find in the fridge soup is on the go for lunch and hungry swimming DD2 will be home soon.

Oh pigs bum - got to go into work tomorrow when its my usual work at home day:mad: people dropping like flies - the frogs never do:p I had a lot planned at home - I can usually get work stuff out of the way pretty quickly - and it means an extra 100 miles I wasn't planning on :(

Boo. Hope you can get the day back next week( but possibly not, guessing what you do and the setting). Glad you're chirpier..hang on in there, you are making progress. I do know how you feel, it's just all far too slow at times this getting to DFdom and work can be a real drag on the spirits

    Thanks Brizz:)

Well the frogs behaved on the whole which is always a bonus! I parked myself in the office furthest away from the action and hit the paperwork full on................they cut our admin staff to one day a week:eek: Managed to get plenty done in between answering phone, door and wails of help - not literary wails but YKWIM;) Also served dinner to frogs, cleared up afterwards, dealt with 2 bumped heads and 3 grazed knees,2 wet pants and a blocked loo. Also tidied up what is supposed to our prep room and always looks a tip, throwing out a pile of rubbish which is what I wanted to do in my own office at home today:mad:

Home now - cream crackered:D Happy weekend

Its a FLW on Eb*y AGAIN! So up and at it determined to get my full quota on this weekend. Have had some great sales recently. Planning on putting on the heavier bulky stuff as postal charges go up end of month again

    Good luck with fleabay.

I'm in such a selling mood that even my cat better watch out, I'm sure I could get a tenner for him.

Well the primroses are out but the sun aint - its blinking freezing here. Why did I choose to attack the Shed of Doom today - fingers are numb:mad:

Since watching The Hoarder Next Door which featured a lady who even kept her dead pet in the freezer I have become even more determined to declutter - just too scared it may well take over my life otherwise - even now most weekends and holiday I spend too much time 'having a sort out' So today I am trying to be ruthless. My problem is I cant send all to landfill whilst I believe other people can make use of it...........Fr**gle Eb*y and Oxfa*m are my salvation! Also have an NCT sale coming up so going to get rid of a lot of toys and books I keep for school and make some money into the bargain :) And there is a BHF doorstep collection on Monday so will put a bag out. Going to give Z*pper a try too for paperbacks DVDs and CDs and I will put something straight into recycling and all non recyclable rubbish straight into wheelie - I will get there but only if I stop procrastinating on here:rotfl:
