They may have made a mistake in their original acknowledgment but that is CEX's fault and not the OP's problem.
Whether they made a mistake in their original acknowledgement doesn't matter. If they have never had the items then it is the OPs fault for not sending by Special Delivery.
I think it has happened before with CEX that they sent an incorrect email out. Just reading the OP again, they were querying whether you sent the items and when you said they did, the email came straight away? Definitely sounds like someone sent the email by mistake because they were phoning because they hadn't received your item
Also the ecom customer service is quite busy and can take a few days replying. Stop sending multiple emails and wait. If they haven't replied after 3 or 4 days then send one more.0
