So must you, to have somehow found a thread that finished 2 months ago...
...still you must like the idea secretly, as you have decided to bump the thread so more can see it!
You do realise that private parking fake 'tickets' are a scam and that's what the notice is warning people about. That's a good thing to do on a moneysaving website.
:TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

At least i am not illiterate. Yes i do have too much time on my hands as i work 4 on 4 off and still looking for a part time job for my days off.
I sincerely hope you get a private parking ticket and cave in under their useless threats.
skodafabia, do not send me illiterate private messages asking me where i work and where i get my information from.
Edited to add, skodafabia, seriously, this forum would be better off without the like's of you after reading your posts.0 -

Thats not true. If the PPC is responsible for that car park and someone is advertising their notices in there on car windscreens without permission then the PPC can lawfully remove them.
The 'rule' (which has no legal backing at all) from the BPA is in respect to PPC tickets and PPC tickets only.0 -
Hi,
Is there a similar lay person's guide to, what to do if you are clamped on private property? There's an area in Ipswich on Duke St where I've often seen people clamped after popping in to Tescos or The chippie. They wait up the road and then pounce. It'd be handy to print off and leave copies with the Tesco staff and chippie.0 -

Unfortunately once the gits have the clamp on there is not much you can do except pay and sue the clampers and the land owners.
Oh or remove the clamp!0 -

Oh or remove the clamp!
There are increasing numbers of cases where clampers are actually buying or leasing land simply so they can clamp and ignore CCJs with impunity, knowing that their victims will have noone else to sue.
Under these circumstances, I would suggest that a person who has been unlawfully clamped has no realistic alternative to "self-help"- i.e. cutting the clamp off- if they can.0
