Second hand Macbook-what's it worth?

Bought a new Macbook 3 months ago (basic model @ £749) and have been extremely disappointed with it. An acquaintance has shown interest in buying it and has asked me to name a price but I have absolutley no idea of its worth. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Stumbled across this thread and was hoping for some advice. We have a brandnew iMac since xmas which is great, are now looking to install Bootcamp to become more versatile and need a copy of 'Windows XP Home Edition or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later'. It must NOT be an upgrade version apparently, so was just wondering best place to get this. Is it eBay? Thanks for any info you can share. Sorry to hijack thread .
