Disabled Bay Private Car Park

Folks, I think PPCHomeTruths is another circus buffoon here for the giggle. His sort produces no valid information so let's totally ignore him, only correct him indirectly when addressing a genuine person. He'll soon go away.
To Robertz. The fool at the car park tried to tell you that by parking in a disabled bay you were breaking the LAW??? Big word. Perhaps he could have called the police then, after all, they are there to enforce "the law".
You cannot work for PPCs if you have been circumcised. It's because you have to be a complete priсk! Credit where it's due, PPCs have insensitive and THICK scumbags at every rank from top to bottom.0 -

Independent Enforcement Agencies uphold decency in private car parks, and they must do so in an even fashion.

These private car parking employees annoy me as much as cold callers do0

Correct, it is ALL spam - every bit of it. It's funny how more and more collection companies and their sorry clients are beginning to address these forums. Naturally, you wouldn't expect them to approve them so it's no surprise when they push for their own angle and discourage readers to take notice of these. They even cite the occasional Blue Moon when a motorist has lost his case against a PPC (though clearly there are circumstances unmentioned when this happens) but to send along someone like PPCHomeTruths is pathetic. Is that all he can do? Come here are speak of "independent agencies" and their power to "enforce"? You'd think they might have a better stab than that.
If any PPC agent is reading this - come on down and fight your own battles. You think your actions are legal? Face us and tell us on what grounds.

As it happens the police inhabit part of this building, and he treats them in exactly the same way, and there is no PPC involved, so his employers are the target0 -

How on earth would you know anything about decency? You should make the most of your little attention seeking because I guarantee it will not last.
The ever increasing number of people who are becoming aware of your illegal scams will put an end to it.

This, is the beginning of the end for you lot and good riddance does not even begin to explain.0 -

Not on private land.
A colleague who occasionally has back problems is allowed to use the disabled bays in the works PRIVATE car park. She does not have a blue badge as this is an intermittent problem.Truth always poses doubts & questions. I won't get an unenforceable invoice, I will get a lot of grief as he has made an official complaint to the company I was in a meeting with who are tenants in the building, for my abusing him and my "illegal parking" he knows i am disabled and i have had problems there before but he is adamant, no badgee no parkee, i would not use a disabled bay normally, but as there was nowhere else....... but he is a complete jobsworth who swears blind that it is the LAW that you need a blue badge to use ANY disabled bay period, and he was going to have my motor towed away. I said i will move it off the premises then, he said your banned from the building then for abuse, he was not going to let me stay on the premises and escorted me from the building.
I am considering which sections of the Act to quote in my letter, I am not interested in compensation, just an acknowledgement that they were wrong
I think I would attach printed information, such as the definition of disability and make an official complaint about HIM.
Also have a read of this PDF from lawyers who deal with disability discrimination cases, it's aimed at Local Authorities as a newsletter for them, but the facts apply to any service-provider, any office/car park/any place where staff work and/or the public have access. I skim-read it and found this quote, where 'the service' they mention is the provision of disabled bays as a reasonable adjustment:
'Provision of Services and Public FunctionsIn addition to the general prohibitions provided by the Act, section 29 deals specifically with the provision of services. Under section 29, a service provider must not refuse to provide a service to a person with a protected characteristic and must also not discriminate in the terms on which the service is provided, by terminating the service, or by subjecting the service user to any other detriment. 'Robredz you must deal with this head-on and with facts attached to your letter, and bear in mind that you COULD get compensation. Even if you do not intend to sue, if the discussion on the matter gets discriminatory and they disagree with you, just drop it in to the conversation that you know that the remedy for disability discrimination is fairly hefty monetary compensation - but all you want is an apology and the knowledge that his behaviour will not be allowed to happen again.Because the guy knew about your disability he is in breach of the law. FACT. You do not have to apply for another Blue Badge so do not even mention it as it's irrelevant on private land.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
