.......which supposed to be set up for the 5th of every month not the 15th,Your vent should be with the tool company who took your direct debit early.MoneySaverLog wrote: »If the agreement was for the DD to come out on the 5th and not the 15th then I would speak to the finance company and ask why it was taken early, and to take the money at the right time as agreed.
Was the DD in question charged early or did it come in late?
Was there money taken on the 5th of August (Friday) or was it that DD coming six working days late?
If so, what happened to the money which (presumably) was in place on the 5th?0 -
Was the DD taken 10 days late, or 21 days early?

Basically this is the 1st month payment of my agreement it was supposed to be on the 5th of this month so it would mean its come out late,10 days late, as far as the money being in there from the 5th i just assumed that all my bills were paid and i had to leave £88 in there for my council tax so whatever was left before that between the 6th and today was spent.0 -

To answer for the OP, the issue is not "early or late" but whether the copy mandate was provided (at all).
In the post I don't think think the OP accepts (or recalls) that.
Anyway it is sufficient to assert (to the bank) that it wasn't, which must them make an "immediate" refund.
Edit cos just see the OP's latest post - what it was "supposed to be" is irrelevant. Only what the copy mandate says is relevent. No copy mandate, no entitlement to dip into the OP's account - on any date.0 -

It looks like there was insufficient time to set up the DD for the 5th. Therefore, they took it "shortly after", as is their right if the wording says as such on the agreement. Does it OP?0 -

There was more than enough time for them to set it up as i signed up for the agreement on the 11th of july, correct me if im wrong but doesnt it take 14 days to set up a direct debit and also should they not have confirmed the date as the 15th if they couldnt meet my request of the 5th.0
