They only had Mater and Lightning, it was in June, so the film was out over there, but not here, so we went to Downtown Disney to see it, they loved the fact they saw it before their friends over here!!!!
I would def go back to the Crystal Palace, we were really lucky to get in there, i had pre booked Cinderellas Castle and Chef Mickeys they were both brilliant to but the Crystal Palace was my favourite.
Ohhhhhhh, i so want to go back again!!!!
We also went to Discovery Cove, it was expensive, but it was worth it. It was an almost perfect day and our swim with 'Lester' the dolphin will live with us all forever.

Disney photos are fab. Brings back happy memories of our trip in 2002. Will we ever have the cash to go again?

Have been feeling rough for past two weeks and can't see me making the trip back to work on Monday feeling like this. If I have eaten I need to be within 30 secs of a loo. If I haven't eaten I need total silence due to pounding head - not likely to happen in a High School of over 1000 kids!
Feel fine at times in the house but a short trip out leaves me exhausted.

Had short trip to Lidl today and stocked up on herbs and spices as I am planning to cook the OS way this year. They had fab little sea salt, pepper, garlic and chilli flake mills for 69p each. Delia's Carrot and Coriander soup is bubbling away in the kitchen while braised steak, veg and potatoes are in slow cooker. The smell of 'real' food is incredible. Planning pancakes for breakfast tomorrow.

    What fab Disney pics!!

Makes me feel as though I'm lapping up the Floridian sun instead of it being dark, dingey and wet East Sussex!!

I went to Florida with my parents and sister when I was in the 6th form, it was before Discovery Cove was built (they were building it when we were there) but we loved it all the same. We got to swim with dolphins on our last morning there and it was fabulous.

I've been to Disney in both Florida and California, although barely remember either, would love to go to it again, we'll probs go to the California one... hope to get to CA again in the next year or 2 once I've got a decent full time job again and some money saved up! Just keep thinking it won't be pipe dreams....

We're all awake now and the flat smells of coconut rice pudding, smells delish!!

My little sis is working out in Disneyworld for a year (think she's back in August) She's working in Epcot.

I would love to be able to go out and visit her. And maybe get her a food package or two - disney do NOT pay well!

We've always stayed at Old Key West (Dad bought a vacation club membership with his retirement lump sum so we don't have to pay for accommodation!)

Lovin' the pics. Gonna dig mine out - will inspire me to either set a date for going back (2008 at the earliest!) , though we'll be going without the rest of the family so will have to cover our accommodation costs. Either or sorting something else out for this year. Would love to go to Cornwall.

    Hope they turn out ok.

Anyway, my day has been very uneventful. DD has an upset tummy so we have stayed in whilst the boys have gone out to do boy things. DH bought me the deal or no deal chocolate game ( £2.49 in the sale ;) ) so we are playing that they get back and the kids have had their dinner. It has been pouring it down here today and I was hoping we could get out and have a nice walk but not to be.

I have been trying to get as many points as I can on pigsback today thanks to the links on this board and deposited £10 on a bingo site to get £30 back via Quidco, I find it really dull playing though! I have hoovered and cleaned around today but otherwise that's it  .

Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

Edit : Oh no they didn't turn out, am going to try and fix it!

    Edit again :) They're fixed !

In 1992 we went to California for Christmas, some experience that was!!!! eating Christmas dinner when it was in the high 80's in the shade, but the mountains at the back of us had snow on them.......  we had such a great time and I spent oceans in the after Chrostmas sales.......

In 1998 we went to California and stopped off in Boston for 4 nights. I met my friend with whom I had been corresponding for 8 years and we went to stay at her home in New Hamphire..... it was in autumn and was fabulous, we went on a ride around through NH and up into Maine to the freeport shopping centre, bot you have seem nothing like it, wall to wall outlets for over 4 miles on either side of the road!!!!! The colours in the trees was awsome, we visited the home of Louisa M Alcott, who wrote Little Women, such a pretty house. It is this friend who has the house in Florida.....

2002 we were back in California for 2 weeks and spent a week on Kauai in the Hawiian islands..... it was lovely, but would not advise anyone to go in April, the weather was very iffy considering where we were, but it did not stop us having a great time. How I wish I had a digital camera then, all our photos are on film, I really must try and get them put onto disc through the scanner, but we have almost 2,000 to do,:D :D it would be a lifetimes job. We did do some last year, threw out a lot and sent some off to people we knew would appreiciate them, but we still have 12 or 13 albums in the loft.

I love the US........ I buy fabric when we are there, it is so cheap compared to here, things like trainers as well, and we also bought an expanding pilots case that fits in the overhead locker, brialliant, I can get a weeks clothes in it no probs.

I have also been twice on my own to visit friends, but if we make Florida in 2008, I think it will be our last trip.........getting too old now, the insurance is horrendous.......we get it free at the moment with our bank account but OH is nearing the age limit.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
