BuyMobilePhones.net complaint. Help please
I'm FUMING !!!!
I bought a refurbished Blackberry on contract from BuyMobilePhones.net in June.
It froze completely in July so I returned it to BMP who reloaded the software and returned it. The same thing happened last week and they repaired it again, but this time it lasted only a few hours before it happened for the 3rd time.
However they have now emailed me to say that the IMEI number of the phone I returned is different from the phone they originally supplied, and that therefore they will no longer repair it!
There is no doubt whatsoever that I returned the same phone, so if the handset really has been switched then they are responsible.
I have written to them to say that I will issue a court claim unless they repair or replace it within 10 days.
Has anybody else had the same experience? I have to say that the staff have been polite during our telephone conversations, although there is always a long wait for a reply. But I'm hopping mad that they should come up with such a ludicrous suggestion in order to try to avoid their legal obligations!
