    Try here :

    http://www.oftec.org/

On the right-hand side of the page there's a link to find a member in your area.

OFTEC is the governing body for oil installers - similar to Gas Safe ( CORGI, as was ), for gas.

    Hope this helps.

There are few oil service contracts lke the British Gas one. I used to use Heat Complete when they first started 9 years ago. 1st 2 years they were great and fixed several breakdowns but after 2 years they became useless: poor response time, unreliable, and endless new clauses that meant they charged every time they came out.

I now rely on a good local guy for a once a year service, and pay as you go for breakdown. If you want insurance, put aside £10 per month in a savings account!

Use OFTEC to find local engineers.

Boiler insurance, waste of money. If you service it annually, you're unlikely to need insurance.
Why don't you try getting the original installers to service it, if they're still around?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
