So do you have some prior knowledge of the OP's insurance? Some people get straightforward bills and can work out VAT! By the time this post ends, the OP has probably calmed down and got onto the site and downloaded their bill.

Neither of us have any knowledge of the bills (insurance was an example), in my opinion that means it isn't sensible to suggest 'working backwards' from the amount charged to the bank account.

In my experience, the last people you make assumptions with or do rough calculations is HMRC!

Yesterday the online system did not want to show the bills ... today it does!

Working out the VAT is no problem. Explaining to people who don't know much about being registered for VAT obviously is!

Whats that supposed to mean ? - is it another little one of your cunning swipes. I am VAT registered, own business and an accountant. Keep your judgements somewhere ....

Then whilst our usual standard of advice on cashback contracts generally comes uninformed it's even more worrying when you offer advice which should be of a better quality.

Take your attitude somewhere else - don't bug me, you are so full of yourself you don't even know it.

Don't worry your head about me - I do ok with cashbacks, VAT returns, company returns, self assessment and a whole load of other things you could not even begin to comprehend.

I feel there may be a job for you on a mobile phone company's customer services team. You would fit right in :rotfl:
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

Yeah sure there must be - to tell people where to get off whining!

Or teaching people how to download their bills on a monthly basis and keeping basic accounts or not getting worked up about vat returns which can be delivered by the end of the month. Is that aggressive enough for you?

I never worry about you in the slightest; just the people you give bad advice to. The accounting profession has obviously gone downhill if you are qualified. Fortunately, I actually do understand the things you don't and have done my own accounts, VAT and taxation for the last 29 years without a hitch. I'd hate to have to actually pay someone so obviously incompetent and complacent to do that for me.

Good for you - now go and bully someone else.

PM me if you want an insulting match - by God I have had enough of you and your insults.

So bloody full of yourself !

Shame. As always I won't go away or stop correcting your poor advice so perhaps you should go back and restudy accounting and VAT regulations because it's plain you really need to.
