Orange contract - my address, unknown person fraud

Options
Someone got T-Mobile and Orange mobile contracts registered on my address. Name is not mine or anyone's living at this address (I own the house), just a very general British name. I could see from the bills that they were using it to call an African country directly, calls total amounts to hundreds of pounds and no payments offsetting this.

I was first sending them back marked as ReturnToSender, but then became suspicious and opened the envelopes.

Called T-Mobile immediately, advised them of the situation and never heard from them since.

Orange is different though, I called them several times already asking to do something about it and remove the association to my address. Every time the CS were happy to help and "pass it to the fraud department", but I was still receiving invoices and now the unpaid bill letters.

I have a feeling they are not doing anything about it, and just letting it follow the standard debt collection process and the next thing I see will be bailiffs on my doorstep and a big red warning in my credit rating profile ( I am ordering a copy of it right now).

What would be the correct course of action now, before it is too late ?

The fraud department is probably the most shambolic department at Orange. If Orange prefer to keep paying for calls to Africa, it's up to them. Just keep returning the bills.

Regarding dissociation you can do this yourself by dealing with CRAs: Can I get other people's information removed from my credit report?

I would one or both of the following:
    1) Write a letter of complaint to Orange explain that you have returned several letters and phone several times to advise them that the person concern does not and never has lived at the property. Therefore will they cease from sending letter to your address.
    2) Go into your local Oragange shop and complain along the same lines as (1).

    Orange address:

    Correspondence Dept.
    PO BOX 10
    PATCHWAY
    BRISTOL
    BS32 4BQ

    Email: executive.office@orange.co.uk

The executive office investigates (or should) complaints.

If all else fails, the CEO email address: olaf.swantee@orange.co.uk

Good luck, hope it's swiftly sorted.

Contact the Exec office above. They are now the ONLY dept that can call the fraud dept. All other sections can only email them.
