hello i got a parking ticket when i had in fact paid from excel parking.
i went to the office to protest and tell them i had paid but they would not overturn it so i sent the ticket and my proof of payment photocopies back to them, my ticket had obviously blown onto the floor of the car when i closed the door and i hadn't noticed they have wrote back saying i must pay the fine and they are already threatening it will jump to a £100 if i don,t pay up. If the tickets had adhesive on them like they used to it would have been stuck to the window and this would not have happened this is very unfair when i paid

Your post on the Motoring board says that this "ticket" was issued by Excel.
Assuming that that is the case, IGNORE THEM from now on. They are a Private Parking Company and have no power to fine you.
Check the letter chain on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803 you will receive more letters related to this - IGNORE THEM!0 -
Ignore any further letters you get sent about this.
You wasted your time and money on writing to them
They are scammers and can be safely ignored.
Next time your cat litter tray needs some more paper use the rubbish they send you
Would you fall for those Nigerian scams?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Ignore. Expect some threatening computer generated junkmail before they give up and go away.
You don't owe them a penny and have discovered that you can't reason with a private parking company who only exists to extract money from their victims.0 -

Pay your pennance, and make sure that your ticket is correctly displayed next time. :-)
There is no such thing as an IEA and even if there were ..Private Parking scamming theives aren't it !0 -
Ignore Excel, you have paid for parking therefore the landowner has suffered nil damages and can only sue you for guess what, nothing.0

I've been away for a couple of days, and it's obvious that plebeians with a vested interest in the PPC money-making scam are becoming nerved by the fact that the public are becoming increasingly clued-up (thanks to forums such as this one) and are more and more less likely to fall for their false threats relating to unlawful charges imposed by pen-pushing idiots who couldn't even spell contract.
I ignored a charge imposed by a fellow member of PPCHomeTruths' cohort of criminal idiots. Still safely ignored. I kind of hope they proceed; I understand the law of contract much better than any PPC's "legal teams" or "debt collection agencies" purport to knowing.
As for PPCHomeTruths, don't insult our intelligence by implying that what PPC's do is to act fairly, with moral compass or scruple, or even, within the LAW. No penance due (penance spelt correctly!) and how's about we attach a ticket to your head with the words "con-artist" emblazoned across it (and fine you £100, reduced to £50 if paid within 7 days of this post because our losses are obviously less if paid quickly, if you fail to display the ticket exactly half way between your eyes).

Does anyone know why the subject of this thread is nothing to do with parking? Freesia?! I thought it had been posted in the wrong sub-forum. :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
