Get out of a contract cheaply?
Options
I'm with Virgin Mobile, I'm on £20 a month but with 11 months left.
I'm fed up of having no signal what so ever (my calls drop out 90% of the time) and my phone has stopped working.
Any ideas on what I can do?

The Fields are Green, The sky is blue, the River Nene goes winding through, The market square is Cobblestoned, It shakes the old dears to their bones, A finer town you'll never see, A finer town they'll never be, Big city lights don't bother me, Northampton Town I'm proud to be!

So the problem is most likely that your phone is broken, not that there is anything wrong with their service. The simple answer is nothing. They are not obliged to give you a discount or to terminate the contract early.
Go to Tesco, buy a cheap PAYG phone on the Virgin network and put your contract SIM in it.0 -
Get the phone repaired under the manufacture's warranty? It's 24 months for the majority of them.
Next time check the signal in the locations you need before meddling into a long contract.0 -

Is the phone under warranty?
You should have reported the poor signal before phone stopped working....if the signal is poor all the time...may be due to a fault....if only at home, could be structure of the building.0 -

It's a Samsung Wave, I think it's 12 months.
I have the same problem with it dropping out no matter what phone I use. I have been with Virgin for 8 years and never had a problem with them until I went on contract with them. The Fields are Green, The sky is blue, the River Nene goes winding through, The market square is Cobblestoned, It shakes the old dears to their bones, A finer town you'll never see, A finer town they'll never be, Big city lights don't bother me, Northampton Town I'm proud to be!0 -
