Can I change the menu settings on a mobile phone?

I got a new (Sony Ericsson K750i) for Christmas! :j However it is a Tesco mobile and I have an easy to remember number on O2. When I phoned O2 to get a code to transfer my number to Tesco they offered a better tariff and a £10 credit to stay with O2. As £10 credit cancelled out the cost of unlocking the phone I decided to go for it (along witht he free texts every month).

So far so good, however the menu on the phone is set to go to the Tesco Internet site:rolleyes: when I try to access internet via the phone (not something I will do much but if the facility is there I might as well try it!!) I have been to theO2 site and got the O2 internet settings sent to the phone but i cannot find out how to access it - any ideas please?

Have you created a new profile for O2 in the connectivity menu and made this the active profile?

Yes have managed to get that far, went to internet settings/internet profiles and have selected O2 WAP GPRS. However on the inital menu screen the internet icon says Tesco Mobile and doesn't let me connect and i cannot find a way to change this so it connects to O2.

You may not be able to change that without having the phones firmware flashed. Not seen a Tesco K750i, so not absolutely sure about that but it may be branded.
