Tell me more?
I was honoured when mine appeared in his tips last year.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Can't remember now which thread we were discussing it on, now but a few of the recent freebies promoted on the email could have done with, how shall I put it delicately, a bit more "editorial control" and checking before they were blasted out on the email (dare I mention the word "bobblehead toy".) With whatever it is now, 900K or more on the email list, I dread to think how many recipients were conned (unknowingly by MSE) into giving their details away. I feel quite strongly that MSE has a responsibility not to inadvertently act as a mass marketing tool for spammers.
I must confess that I also feel uncomfortable with your use of the word "honoured" - it smacks of patronage and elitism. Credit to him for the years of effort he's spent building the site and his career to the level it is now, but Mr Lewis owes a whole lot of that to the people like yourself who willingly supply the tips and give the free time to post these things up (I'm sure he knows this.)
Perhaps, with that being the case, the "honour" should be the other way round to that which you suggest?0 -

No all praise should go to :money: for providing us with this site. :money: does recognise the contribution from site members and is generous with his thanks.
re the Honour bit it's just a word to describe how good it felt to see one of my tips/comments taken seriously. It was like praise from teacher:rolleyes:~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Maybe the forum should become sign up only with a yearly fee of £1 that goes to charities then its not just us that benifit.
Also you'd be surprised how many people wouldnt pay a £1 to charity and lets be honest we dont want people on here like that.
We get alot off this and not just saving money because some people might see this site as being a friend, a friendly place to chat and exchange ideas so maybe giving a £1 isnt much to ask for what we get.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
