I currently have a rolling sim only deal from 02, 800 mins + 800 texts and unlimited internet. My phone is the HTC Desire which Im happy with. I pay almost £21 a month which i would like to reduce. Am open to all networks bar Tmobile.

Very grateful for any help.

Please sit back and await the GG agents .

There are plenty of sim only deals out there, I don't get as many minutes as you but the trade off is I get MMS included.

Orange and Vodafone are expensive with low data allowances, you've ruled out T-Mobile, so I'd suggest:

Giffgaff: 200 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet for £10-a-month, no contract. £4.04 Topcachback.

    Three: 300 mins, 3000 texts, 1GB internet for £10-a-month, 12-month contract. £15.53 Topcashback.

Both do more expensive tariffs if you need more minutes.

    How about...

Giffgaff: 400 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet for £15-a-month, no contract. £4.04 Topcashback.

They operate on the O2 network.

When you ring O2 and ask for your PAC code, they might offer you a retention deal to keep you so compare that with Giffgaff.

Thanks, that sounds great, good to save a few pounds a month :):T

I have tried to get a better deal with 02 but to no avail, might try again this week.
  • Is your Desire unlocked to all Networks?

If not maybe this utility might help* used it for my desire and it now unlocked to all networks.

*Your risk alone, it won't brick your phone but it can (very very very occasionally) lose your APN setting, which means you searching the internet to get them back for your new network.

If you join Giffgaff, you shouldn't need to unlock your phone at all as they use the O2 network, the same as you are already on.

Vodafone £20.50 a month 900 mins 500mb web 3000 texts plus £120 cash back of quidco or topcashback.

The best deal though is giffgaff £15 goodybag which has 400mins unltd text and web.
