Sky rant

I joined sky back in june 2010 so have been with them for over 12 months and have paid on time every month until this month, when unfortunetly through unforseen circumstances I could not pay the full bill.I paid half but still thats not good enough for them and despite me calling thinking they may be linient i get im sorry you will lose your services from tomorrow.Im gutted as I thought being a good custumer and good payer for over a year might of meant something......Anyways guess it means me and other half wil actually have to have conversations .
All stressed out ...... and no one to choke !!:D

How late are you? The problem now is that to reconnect they will probably require a 2 month deposit (so that they have a month in hand) and direct debit.
Not sure what reconnection charge they impose.

  • Did you speak to them before you made the part payment - or did you just pay 1/2 and not get in touch with them? (not sure when the phone call you mention happened - ie before you made payment, or once they notified you that you'd be cut off).

If you'd discussed it with them first then they should've been able to come to some arrangement (ie pay the extra next month) and it's a bit harsh if not. If you only made the 1/2 payment without contacting them, then they have no way of knowing what's going on.
