Avoiding RyanAir Charges...

Hi,
I'm really sorry if I'm missing the obvious here, but I've done a thorough search and couldn't find the exact information I'm looking for (and with rules/regulations changing all the time, I'd rather be safe than sorry!)
I've found some flights that I'd like to book with ryanair, and obviously want to get them booked as quickly as possible, before they go up. I have a travelex cash passport from last summer which looks like this:
Is this a suitable prepaid mastercard to avoid ryanair card charges? I don't want to go through the hassle/charges of loading it up to find out it doesn't work
Thanks in advance!

It's a Mastercard which you load with cash, so it should be fine although I can't guarantee it 100% (Ryanair seems to reject most prepaid Mastercards from time to time as threads on here indicate).0

As Mark said, it is a prepaid Mastercard however there is no guarantee Ryanair will view it as so!
Also, it is a Euro card. What currency are the flights you are booking? If it is in £ then I suspect either Ryanair will convert to € for you at a rate very much favourable to them, or Travelex may do it. Either way it probably wouldn't be a good rate, and may even an incur an extra charge on your Cash passport.
The way round this is to book on a Ryanair site that charges in Euros anyway, like the Irish one http://www.ryanair.com/ie
The other option, is see if the flight is available on www.travelrepublic.co.uk. They charge exactly the same as Ryanair for the flight, however their card charges are much cheaper, 2.5% for Credit cards and 1.25% for debit cards. This is usually far cheaper than Ryanair's £6 per person per sector.0
