Hi all!
Sorry I haven't been around - had a few developments midweek last week which basically means I haven't been at work and so haven't really been on the computer. Spends again were a bit out of control :undecided But again, I had to buy a couple of things for the weekend. I'm going to V Festival, and a car parking ticket is either a fiver in advance, or £15 on the day! So of course I bought one in advance, but hadn't included it (pr the booking fees!) in my budget,
Anyway, total spend for last week was £59.65 Ok, so that's not actually as bad as I thought it was going to be! But again, I have gone over budget
As I said, I'm going to V Festival at the weekend (leaving Friday) so will only budget up until then - I have a separate budget for the weekend/petrol etc. I'm not working this week, but I have enough food in the house that I shouldn't need to go out for anything. Am meeting my friend in the week for lunch though, so will set a total spend of £25 but, as I seem to say every week (!) I shouldn't need to go near that!! We'll see what happens!
Have a good week everyone

morning all. well done on coming in, in credit elsie
same has happened with me even tho i thought i had gone well over budget last week initially. i think i ended up being about £27 in credit from my ebay sale - hence i have now listed 4 more items, hoping to do the same thing this week!!!!
ive decided to run my budget from monday - sunday as it makes more sense for me that way - cant get to grips with starting on a sunday! saved myself £2.70 this morning by checking all my work emails from home instead of going into the office and paying for parking. won't be allowed to do this every time, but each time counts, right! am hoping for a nsd today - working tonight as extra so i get to have wed afternoon off, so not much opportunity to spend any cash lol.
gl this week everyone!0 -
Running mine Monday-Sunday too, pledging £40 this week as got top up grocery shop to do, someone's birthday and had to pay some postage for ebay today (hate when you underestimate!)Sept GC - £13.19/£150

well, after listing an auction for a camera yesterday that i thought i would end up with 20 quid for (that should have ended this sunday coming), i was contacted this morning by somebody wanting to purchase it from me straight away.
now i usually shy away from these things, but asked what his offer would be and he said £60. i had already done my research and the camera i was selling had been sold on ebay many times, for, on average, £37. anyway, end of a long story, but i now have £60 plus an extra £8 for postage costs currently being moved from my paypal account, into my bank account as we speak - and the camera is ready to be posted lol. happy days
this will be going towards next weeks budget for both myself (and my partner, who has spent all her money for this month already!)0 -
Evening all

Hi all,
Spent at the shops yesterday £6.58, came home and chucked the pennies in the tin so i've now for £33 left in my purse. Hoping it will last me but got an unexpected night out on Fri and still need to get the eyebrows done haha.
so £7/£40.
