My Nokia (don't laugh - its a lovely little phone) 3600 won't turn off when I press the power button. I did drop it so I'm guessing thats the cause.
Anything I can do?
thanks

Short term solution - take the battery out.
Long term..... dunno, sorry. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

You asked about switching it off, and as the 1st replier suggested , take the battery out, indeed it may not switch back on, but it seems it is a software bug why the handset will not switch off, so once the battery is removed for 10 seconds to a minute, then re-powered you should be fine.
Then again if you are worried about the handset not coming back on, why do you want to switch it off?0 -
Before you do anything, make sure your contacts are backed up!!!!!!0
