Ppi claim with natwest

PPI Claim with Natwest

I took out a loan with Natwest in 2004 FOR £5000 PPI is shown as a total amount of £1319 total amount payable was £8135 APR 10.9% loan was fully paid off on 09/01/2009 have sent the PPI questionare and have since had a letter back saying they are looking into my claim and will get back to me within 16 weeks.

Has anyone had any dealings with Natwest just wondering how long they will drag it out for

    Good luck on your reclaiming.

    The main of the banks have been give the extra time by the FSA due to the backlog.

    Mine via lloyds is also 16 weeks, hopefully we shall still hear before the time given, good luck.;)

    Recieved an offer letter yesterday for £2,267.44, Thanks everyone for your help, can't believe how simple it actually was to claim back.

    Hi Louise

    My letter went in on the 26th May, first response on the 7th June (we acknowledge you complaint etc) followed by a few phone calls and emails to push things along. Settlement letter on the 9th September showing that interest was calculated to the 3rd October. Tuesday 4th October £10,029.06 was paid into our NatWest current account.

    NatWest are part of the RBS group and I have found them not the best communicators (also had a successful claim on a Mint Card) and have had to keep pushing ending up with an angry email to Mr Hester the CEO.
