I second the bio powder tip. I just leave the pan to soak. In fact this is how I routinely clean my pans!0

Thank you all for your suggestions and I opted for the vinegar option in the end and it worked. I soaked it for 3 days and you can't tell that the pot was ever burnt.It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0
