I think this is why I don't like points Chicky! Mind you there are some days I am pushed to eat all my calories (actually some days I am pushing it to get over 500 calories ... sorry :o)

Oh I am sure I will have days like that!!! (just ordered some snack rolls for next weeks shops for salad sandwiches.)
ALSO was shocked to discover there are less points in frozen mash then a baked potato (esp once you add butter and cheese) so mash it is!! **yum yum**

Hmm could you make your own "root" mash with spuds, carrots, swede, small amount of butter/warm milk and freeze that?

I'll be back to following slimming world when I go to class later this week. Its going to be a challenge because for the last few months, I've been having a cereal bar for my breakfast that uses up in one fell swoop my daily allowance of syns (10). The day then goes downhill from there.....

I need to overhaul my eating habits big time. How I'm going to do this I simply don't know but I'm going to try....
  • good luck FE. I love the special K strawberry and choc cereal (actually must go get another few boxes while on offer in B&M). + their choc chip cereal bars are YUMMMY.

kids keep feeding me starburst this morning.

:rotfl: My OH made pasties yesterday and chocolate tart so pastry overload  It would be rude not to eat it especially as the pasties were yummy and there are 3 left still plus a jam pasty and most of the chocolate tart. I dread to think of the syn content. I also keep seeing all the xmas food and other bits that remain after the festiviies..... Do you mind us hijacking your thread with food themed talk? or should we set up a we will be slim in 2013 thread ???
  • i don't mind a thread hijack (at least we won't get trolls telling us to stay fat lol)..........be good to share ideas.

lets continue to bemoan food here then. :jThere are some strange posters on here sometimes. Makes me too scared to reply to stuff so I run away. Quickly :rotfl: Although sometimes I do wonder whether people start silly threads simply for the fun of it??
  • there are some people who delibertaly start threads cause they know it will annoy people. like a friend who's facebook status the other day was "my child will not be having any fast food until they are a teenager.... discuss"

Well balance transfer complete - £1,800 to pay off in 12 months (thats when the 0% balance transfer runs out). + approx £1000 to find at the end of hubby's pool season (you'll prob remember this years fiasco, well the money has been repaid - well I've seen about £800 so who knows about the other £600!!! used it to pay a wack on the card but will need to find it again this year).
