Smartphone but not a touchscreen - recs

I cannot get on with a touch screen at all. I have played with H's iphone and my texts are gibberish. I just dont like them.

I am looking for a new contract so what phone with buttons would you recommend?

I use email, facebook, internet but would like to get some apps. I currently have an orange san fran with android so wouldnt mind having an android phone either.

Are you aware the handset has a 12key /alpha numeric keyboard option? Which is the same layout as fixed keys, almost all java enabled phones that have internet access will run facebook.
