yes RIP Red Arrow 40 -
Hi all.
Right, bathroom cleaned, DH away for 4 days with ds2 playing cricket in Devon. ds3 out playing and ds1 still asleep (typical teenager), so I'm going to spend some time stitching. See you all later.

Hello Girls
Remember me? Sneaking quietly into the new room. I have brought coffee, tea and some home made banana chocolate muffins (an experiment in the recipe).
Hope you are all well - I have had a few ups and few more downs than normal and just F***D with life - things have been getting really on top of me. Hubby still no job, had to sell precious things to get by and stressed with work but I have to try and do better.
After a few months of deliberation of what to do next in cross stitch - trying to find my mojo too - I have decided to do this for my new grandnephew (born way back in July). It was found in a box in the shed with a couple of other kits - not damaged by damp like the photos and some of my magazines - still trying to dry out some.
Now I am in a quandry. The other week there I met up with a very close former friend. We were best friends at school and afterwards until I married my first husband. We moved out of our home area and a few months after that she stopped talking to me. I tried but felt it was alway one sided until our friendship stopped. Hurt me terrible at the time and for a good few years. Then she asked me to be a friend on FB and asked if we wanted to meet up for lunch. We argreed and met up. Think my late husband was reason we stopped being freinds. Any way we are meeting again. I wonder do I do the wedding stitch I was going to do for when she got married or do I leave it - I did one for her 21st. I am so confused.
Well better get on with the stitch anyway for my grandnephew and work out the wording round it.
Kind wishes to all - lovely to see you all again - missed you all
sweetcarer:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
sweetcarer, I wouldn't bother. I wouldn't put that much effort into it (nor even into the friendship) for someone who could ignore me again at the drop of a hat.0

ooooooo coffee and muffins!
(new best friend)
I think that for time being hold off, see what happens. you dot want to dissappoint yourself again. I think pretending that there wasnt tht void for those few years isnt right so maybe make something for the future, but not for the past.I Love My Library....when I finish/don't like a book, no one gets upset when I return it!Starting 2107lbs this month = 5.5Total loss = 5.5Too many UFOs to count:EasterBun0 -

tbh i wouldn't bother.
my best friend ditched me when toddlerwiggle was born. (kept her in fb for about 4 months after but no contact) saw her in town a couple of months after tinywiggle was born and she apologised for ditching me and would i like to go out for coffee. invited her to a party we were having, she said yes. never turned up - or apologised. not bothering again!loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi, hope everyone is OK
Decorating at the mo so no stitching being done. I stitched the pink shoes here for a friends daughter when she had her baby, she is a a very young mum and the baby is gorgeous! If it's a boy the blue converse trainers are nice as that's what the youngsters are wearing now .... god I sound old (43 eek!)
TH x8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140
