10th Wedding anniversary coming up

Hi all,

Its my 10th wedding anniversary later this year and DH and I want to do something really special. We were thinking of renewing our vows and I was thinking of Gretna Green. Has anyone done this or something else special for your anniversaries and what would be the cheapest way to go about this.

We do have a little one (he'll be 11 months old then) so the lower priced the better, especially as we'll have his 1st birthday to celebrate the month after .

Any advice and ideas greatly appreciated

I was looking into getting married there, and the prices were reasonable. It all depends on what sort of trimmings you want - there are various packages availiable

Gretna Hall will do a blessing with their blacksmith for a small donation

You just turn up and when the blacksmith is free they will do it for you. We gave a small donation of £15. This also gave us use of the beautiful grounds for the photographer.

You can also book ahead if you want a specific time, but this is quite expensive.
