Job Rejection From Morrisons

I finally received my Morrison's job rejection for the New Brighton store, after two weeks of waiting agony.

Needless to say, I am feeling extremely depressed and demoralised.

Did anybody else get a rejection?

Am contemplating requesting feedback, and presume the Head Office address at the bottom of the letter is the one to contact?

I have two rejection emails in the last week, one from lidl and one from royal mail can't say i have been that downhearted but atleast they have let me know, but not being informed is more disappointing.

Take it on the chin...their loss.
You're lucky you got notified at all. Seems to be common-place now to be left hanging without knowing the outcomes of applications or even interviews.
My son applied to Morrisons a year ago and got an interview...he's still awaiting a reply!!!

Thanks. Will try not to let it get me down too much, though it's so hard after all the other job rejections I have received over the last few months.

I know it's hard but try not to take it personally. They don't really know you. Best way to see it is that it's not you as a person they're rejected, it's your application.

But I did manage to get to interview stage, so maybe I didn't score enough points there. I don't know. Hope to get in touch the New Brighton store manager for feedback, if I can.

Pets At Home I applied for that job too!!!
    I got rejected.

Each time you apply you invest a little piece of yourself in that potential job.

Each time you go for an interview you start to imagine working there, your routine, your commute etc.

    Not easy.

    Hugs to all rejectees :grouphug:

With Morrisons when I worked there, most people were hired because of there availability, if you were fully flexible across all of the business hours and had retail experience you'd have a good chance of getting a job.
