i use my student card for my ticket and CEA for other ticket , no problems yet using cineworld. i like that you can book online with cineworld and get your CEA. you can't do that with odeon.

We usually book online because I can't stand for very long in the queues.:o

exactly, the queing is too much! i also like to know that i have my ticket as if you go on busier nights sometimes it gets sold out and thats a bit too stressy for me..

Thanks for the info. I'll take this up with my local Cineworld as they claim that a student ticket is not full price, but I've just tried it online and it's accepted it.

the student ticket isn't full price so i guess they are right in a way, but i that was cineworld policy then you shouldnt be able to book it like that online i suppose. by booking online it avoids even having to ask for the student ticket and then the carer and i just find it easier becuase you dont have an argument with anyone, no one has challenged me on it using the online tickets and actually i have never been asked to show my student id or the cea card when i have gone online. maybe it is just my cinema that is a bit more laid back than yours!

I think thats the best thing about cineworlds online system that it does allow you to use your CEA card, wish VUE would do the same, hate having to wait for a manger to fill the sheet in when you go to VUE. But then VUE take visa electron cards and cineworld dont. Nothings easy lol

With Vue Carer can get in free without CEA card, I did it over the phone so not sure if you can do it face to face. I got in Odeon showing letter for carers allowance with my son's disabled bus pass.

Damn i've just thought, do you have to be on MRC or higher DLA to get it?
