 I don't quite qualify to join you on this thread - my total house-borrowing is "only" a little under £93k, but I'm in this for the long haul because there's only one of me and I only work part-time.

            Hello! I have just been recommended this thread/club by Lois and I would like to join please.
 sadly we are still on interest only (and have been since we bought our first house in 2005!)
 Our details are:
 Oringal Mortgage: £226,000 (including fees)
 Overpayments made: To date - none!
 Outstanding balance: £226,000
 Age: Me 25, OH 29
 First payment/overpayment is planning to be made at the end of this month. I'm hopeful to make it £850.
 Do we update on here any overpayments?

            I'm glad to see all the people now in this thread. I created it and, but for some reason didn't subscribe to it, so lost it.
 Anyway, earlier this month we made another overpayment of £835.19, which means we've now overpaid by exactly £3,000 in 8 months.
 Monday is pay day, so we'll be making another early next week.
