I'm in too.
We rent out my husband's house. The mortgage is £126,000ish. Will check the exact figure. We subsidise the monthly repayment by £30. It's on a 10 year fix with 8 years to run.
Our new house, purchased a couple of months ago has a £274000 mortgage. Ouch!! It's on a 2 year fix.
Our total equity is about £175,000 or thereabouts.
We've got 30 years to go.I'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.
