Just to update I have just recieved an email from Santander:
"Dear Customer,
Reference number *******
Your recent request has now been completed.
If your request was for copy documents or stationery you will receive these shortly."
Wonder if my Bill payment details are in the post and wonder if they will charge me?0 -
A dormancy block is a block applied to accounts not used at all within the last 4 years. And these blocks are only removed by branches as ID is required to prove you own said account (and not just someone who found said acc card/passbook). Only then can a dormant account be closed.If there is a "dormancy block" whatever that is, surely paying £100 or even 1p into each account would lift it? (Again can be done from home)0
