Yep, I’m sure it does. The law is s75 CCA and it certainly applies to all credit cards and I’m pretty sure to VISA debit cards

Ring them and ask about s75 CCA cover

You're talking about 2 different things but in practice they're the same to the end user. One is the s75 protection given by law to credit card purchases over £100, the other is Visa's voluntary chargeback scheme.
