I would suggest submitting a DMCA complaint to the site host - this would get it taken down (due to the copyrighted images) until she submits a counter-DMCA notice OR removes the images. I haven't got much time right now so take a look at using a WHOIS to find her host's details and then read about DMCA and how to write one.

But the images being used aren't the OP's images or property. Would it really be in the OP's best business interests to antagonise this person even further?! I'm honestly struggling to see why the use of these images is anyone but the image owner's business. Using the images may be illegal, but that's a matter for the image owners, surely? How does using those images affect the OP? Why is it any of their business to get involved in the matter? It seems to have caused nothing but trouble so far...DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

From what I read above, she's not using the OP's pictures - they're from some American website.DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

I think the OP has stated that this person has now taken images from the OP's Facebook and website pages now. This could be a reason to have this person's site taken down temporarily - maybe not the best way but due to the high legal costs these days this is a free option to let this person know they can't just do as they want.
I have some experience and knowledge in these exact situations, and have found that being aggressive like this can stop the person from continuing to bully.0 -

Hi, you are right in a way, though my intentions to begin with were not malicious at all, which is why i privately messaged her simply saying "hi, i saw some of your pics on this website, do you work for them? may want to check it out". But now yes, she has taken my pictures also and taken pictures that werent even mine they were a clients' who posted it and tagged me, as well as all the other bullying.I do now wish that i hadnt said anything but im not a malicious person at all and thought if she maybe did this when she first started out that it would do her good to see that things like this get discovered all the time and she should remove them.
It seems to have quietened down now apart from a message from some random person shouting her mouth off, which i just ignored.
As for the website i am a litlle baffled as to why she hasnt taken them down yet, she really must think shes invincible, but i will defiantely look into what hardpowered has said.
Thanks again everyone for all your helpful comments :beer:0 -
I wonder if she's copied your pictures or is just linking to them? If she's linking to them, you can take them down and re-post them and her links won't work. When you put them back up, make sure they're watermarked."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Nah - this prat has taken them down and edited a copyright into them.
If they had just linked directly to the images I could have given the OP some code called 'Hotlink Protection' so that if the prat tried it again, it would show normal on her site to her, but when her customers tried accessing it some massive BOOBIES would appear or something. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

First time ive been able to smile about this situation!0 -
Ok so now today I have recieved a moneyclaim online form from the previously mentioned client (that rival extensionist has "bribed") demanding a refund of her money plus 8% interest.
The absolute cheek of it I cannot believe. She obviously doesnt have 2 brain cells to rub together. In her claim, she states dates that her hair fell out within a week of them being put in. I have messages from her dating right up until 8/8/2011 (4 weeks after fitting) saying how happy she was etc, then the last few messages saying she wasnt happy, where i offered her free maintenance (where the situation would have been assessed, more hair provided and any lost refitted) for free, and her refusal of such, saying "no no its fine hun, its probably just my hair doesnt suit them, ill give you a shout when my hair's a bit longer".
I also have screenshots of the comments she made on the 8th on a picture of another cliet saying how amazing i am and how happy she is.
So can this be used as evidence in my defence? Do they even accept evidence or is it like paypal the buyer always wins?
I really hope so because these people are making a mockery of me and themselves im sick of this now all i try to do is make a living for my family.
Anyone with experience in these court claims your advice will be highly appreciated
Thanks.0
