Hi
two days ago I got an iphone4 16GB
its on a 2 year contract £42 a month (with VAT)
standard uk text 250
calls to uk mobiles and landlines starting 01/02/03 etc...900
calls to UK landlines..... starting 01/02/03 etc.....3000
uk mobile phone internet usage 750MB
uk-Wi-Fi 1GB
the guy at vodafone probably did explain but could someone tell me what this all means
ok I know I get 250 text a month and 900 minutes of calls to mobiles and landlines
but I'm confused at the other reference to landlines (3000)
and whats the difference between internet and Wi-Fi
sorry for the techi illiteracy
oh and I've just read today that the iphone 5 will be out soon...does anyone think I should have waited...I have got 7 days to change my mind
cheers

By internet, you mean Mobile WAP - to which you have the 750MB limit a month - enough for everyday surfing in my opinion.
By WIFI - they mean BT OPEN ZONES - which are at places like starbucks etc, and at these places you can use up to 1GB a month.
IF you have home wifi, use that and then its just you home internet limit.
With the iphone 5, i wouldn't worry, you will have to pay through the nose to get one.Wins Pre-2011 : Arctic Monkeys Tickets

anyone know why there is two references for calls to landlines...ie 900 and 3000?0 -
[STRIKE]Do you meant that you have bought something that you don't understand? It is pretty clear what 3000 minutes to landlines are, but I have no idea how this works together with 1200 minutes allowance, i.e. where landline minutes get deducted first. You should have asked this when buying.[/STRIKE]WaxiesDargle wrote: »ok I know I get 250 text a month and 1200 minutes of calls to mobiles and landlines

EDIT: I seem to have misunderstood the post about 3000 minutes.
WiFi is internet connection with numerous wireless routers - the same as at home. Some hotspots are free, some are not free. Some of those that are not free are included in your tariff. I think it's BT Openzone hotspots that are available with this tariff.and whats the difference between internet and Wi-Fi0 -
This looks like 900 minutes to landlines or mobiles and 3000 minutes to landlines. I have no idea how these two allowances work together. In fact it is a big mistake to buy anything from Voda over a phone. Even if it is clear at the time of buying, usually you get not what you expected finally. This time it was not clear even at the time of buying.WaxiesDargle wrote: »anyone know why there is two references for calls to landlines...ie 900 and 3000?0 -
