There is a very similar story over on the DFW boards - maybe she is already seeking advice?

Darlyd said she had directed her friend to the DFW board. I've read that thread too and I'm 99.9% it's the the OP's friend.

Will be honest though, she does go out for meals a lot with friends, but she uses that money for the debts.

    I don't understand this sentence...

I'm sorry - but why is she with this man???

I'm sure this isn't a very helpful post, but why is she breaking her back for a guy who seems to not care less if they are upto their eyes in debt and could end up out on the street.

He's letting her foot the bill coz she is... people treat u how u let them, he's taking the P*SS

(I'm sure this isn't helpfull but it makes me mad when people let themself get walked on!!!)

Am with you on that. I feel like screaming and shaking her.

But I will be honest, he is a teddy bear, he is soooooooooo laid back, (hence these problems) and he is her comfort blanket. (but no excuse). So I think that is why they are still together.

She has left him before, when things got bad, we stayed in the premier inn together, he never contacted her, I could not believe it. She then went back, and was OK for a while, promises promises.. Now look?

His mum and brother have been funny with her, and DH was sneaky with his mum and brother (when they were slagging her off), which caused massive arguments, hence us meeting up in premier inn. :o

They all pay for themselves. It's when they meet up for charity events, as she does a lot for charity. Mainly hog roasts for cancer.
